Overview
MergeRush is a mobile merge puzzle game where you combine animals to earn points. This privacy policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.
By using MergeRush, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.
Data We Collect
- Authentication: Email address and password (via Firebase Authentication). Anonymous sign-in is also supported.
- Game data: Score, level, booster inventory, purchase history — stored in Firestore.
- Analytics: Screen views and in-app events (Firebase Analytics). All data is anonymized.
- Advertising: Advertising identifier and usage data (Google AdMob). On iOS 14+, user consent is requested via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.
- Push notifications: Device token for in-game notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging). Only sent with your permission.

How We Use Your Data

Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Data is shared only with the service providers listed above (Firebase, AdMob, RevenueCat) solely to operate the app. Each provider is bound by their own privacy policy.
Children's Privacy
MergeRush is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes their child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Data Retention & Deletion
You can delete your account directly from the app: Profile → Account Options → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your Firebase Authentication credentials and all Firestore data are permanently removed.

Security
Your data is stored on Google's secure Firebase infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. The app communicates exclusively over HTTPS and uses Firebase Security Rules to prevent unauthorized access.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can also opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Any significant changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
