Buy a Brick is a mobile collectible app where users purchase bricks and build their personal wall. This privacy policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.
By using Buy a Brick, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.
You may use Buy a Brick without creating an account by choosing Continue as Guest. This creates an anonymous account on your device using Firebase Authentication.
Buy a Brick offers a single consumable in-app purchase: one brick for $0.99. Each purchase is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not store or process payment card details. Purchase history is managed by RevenueCat for restore purposes.
All purchases are final. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies.
Buy a Brick uses a global brick counter to determine when rare bricks are awarded. This counter tracks the total number of bricks purchased across all users worldwide. The counter does not contain personally identifiable information — it is a single aggregated number stored in Firestore. The user who happens to make the purchase at a milestone number receives a rare brick.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Data is shared only with the service providers listed above (Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple/Google) solely to operate the app. Each provider is bound by their own privacy policy.
Buy a Brick is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes their child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
You can delete your account directly from the app: Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your Firebase Authentication credentials, Firestore data (username, brick collection, purchase history) are permanently removed.
